The owner was extremely rude to talk to. I would not recommend under any circumstances. Save yourself a huge headache, & subsequent repair costs after he ruins your jewelry and family heirlooms.

ZERO STARS....if it was possible. BEWARE - DO NOT GO IN THIS STORE. The owner, Murray Margolis is one of the absolute rudest people alive. He obviously doesn't like people and has no business running a business. I bought jewelry in for a repair and when it was there for 45 days he left me the nastiest, most unprofessional message that I have ever heard a so called business state. He left on my VM "if I have to look at this bracelet one more time I'm throwing it in the scrapper. Consider yourself WARNED"! Then he hung up. The bracelet was only there for 45 days! Unbelievable.....he must really need the $18 repair money. I mentioned to him when I picked it up on how nasty I found his message and he went off on me. I've NEVER dealt with anyone so rude in my life. I guess we know why there is never a sole in there! BTW - the work was so badly performed that I had to bring it to another jeweler to have it fixed. I told him what had happened and he said that he hears that every week about the Family Jeweler!
Quick background: My dad brought his Rolex watch here for its 5 year service. When he passed away a year later it was given to me. It did not keep time, and a year later stopped working completely. He did not wear it the last year, and kept it safe in the self winding machine.

I brought in my engagement ring to be sized and I am very pleased with the workmanship. It was done quickly and you couldn't even tell anything had been done to the ring! I highly recommend them.

Murray and his crew are absolute peaches!! I had 3 watches repaired and a bracelet. Very fair price and they treat you like family. Looking forward to a long relationship with them. The have stunning choices.. can't wait till my birthday :). Thanks Guys!!
I sent it to Rolex and they had no record of it being sent in and being serviced. Last date of service was 7 years prior. I called the store and the owner stated that he uses "his local guy" to service it. I said my dad paid the $500+ expecting you to send it to Rolex for the proper 5 year service. The owner said, "would you take your old car to the dealer to get fixed" ? WHAT???? He charged the same price that you would pay if you sent it to Rolex. If your using "your local guy", why are you charging official Rolex prices? He absolutely ripped my father off. Rolex said it was a terrible job, and his "local guy" used the wrong lubricant! This almost doubled the usual repair cost.
